The art produced by John Moehring features likenesses of the band in an orb held by a sorceress fortune teller. “This art is wicked cool with the vibed out sorceress clutching her crystal ball I just love this one and if I was going to have just have a single Doors poster in the collection this is the one, maybe the LA Forum lizard is them most iconic but for me this one checks all the boxes.” Mussell says.

The Nov. 3, 1967 concert was the second time in 1967 the Los Angeles, CA based bacd had made the trip North to the Emerald city having played the same venue back in July for two nights on the 23 & 24th then touring in support of their first self title record. “By the time Jim Morrison and the band returned to Seattle in Nov. they were supporting their second record Strange Days released in Sept. That album didn’t receive the same kind of sales at the time but it’s my favorite Doors record.” says Mussell.
Artist John Moehring is responsible for some of the best looking psychedelic art coming out of the North West during this period. “His work is so fantastic and should be considered along side the other greats of the era Griffin, Mouse, Kelley, Wilson and Moscoso” Mussell opines adding “he created some of the most outstanding designs for Janis Joplin, the Grateful Dead, Jeff Beck, Big Brother and more.” He is considered the premier concert poster designer producing over 30 posters for Boyd Grafmyre who booked shows at the Eagles Auditorium and Seattle Center Arena.
